There are four main strands to the Lutheran Curriculum Framework:
Christian Beliefs – the person and works of God (Father, Son & Holy Spirit), Sin & Grace
Christian Church – the Christian community, worship, the Bible, history and culture
Christian Living – loving and serving all people, responsibility in and for the world
Christianity in the World – spiritual practices and beliefs, making decisions and ethics
All year levels are engaged in aspects of these strands during their allocated lesson times each week. As with other Key Learning Areas, knowledge, skill, participation, creativity and quality of work is taught, practiced and assessed.
Personal faith and spiritual growth is a lifelong journey and not something we can or choose to teach or assess, it is something we live together every day in our relationship with one another.
